Contributions to the Project
Riley was one of the project leads on Kameran as well as the environmental artist. This was one of the first major projects that he worked with a team, 8 people in total worked on Kameran and it took about a year and a half to complete.
All of the images above showcase the different rooms in the house that the players explore throughout the game. Most of the 3D assets as well as the house itself were all create by Riley within Maya, this includes objects that the player interacts with as well as filler objects. While he helped with the ideas for how some of the textures would work for the objects that he created, he didn't texture the objects within the game and some of the assets within the living room area were created by another artist on the team.
Riley also helped with creating the in-game cinematics, making sure that the reaction of the character would be accurate to someone being scared. Having to animate a camera was one of the difficulties the team had to face, making it realistic from a first person perspective.
